TomTom GPS Bluetooth
Connectivity without the tangles

How often have you lost your way or asked for directions in a new place? All of us at some point or the other wish that we had some one who was well versed with the unfamiliar routes and lanes when we travel to a new place. This problem can be solved by simply using the TomTom GPS Bluetooth to sync your mobile phone with your GPS navigation system.

TomTom is a well known portable navigation system which uses the Global Positioning System or the GPS to help you find your way around. GPS was first developed and used for military functions by the US Department of Defense. However, this technology was later made available to the masses in the 1980s.

GPS devices like TomTom use this feature to know your exact location on the earth and provide user friendly driving directions. This Bluetooth feature will help you not only to find your way in a new place but also synchronize your phone and your GPS device to help you to manage your phone calls easily.

The TomTom GPS Bluetooth systems come with mounting equipment required to install your device in the car. It's easy to install and operate. After installing the device you can simply turn on the device along with your Bluetooth enabled phone. This device can easily locate your phone and connect to it. It also uploads the GPS software to the phone on its own.

Devices equipped with Bluetooth technology are generally able to locate the other Bluetooth devices on their own along with auto synchronization. Once the synchronization is complete, you can simply restart the mobile for the program to complete its installation.

Once you have installed the application, then you can use your mobile phone to open the application. Go to the option which says "Navigate to" and then you can map any place you want to reach. All you need to do is enter the zip code in the "Address" field. It will give you a variety of the street names located in your chosen town or the city to choose from. Once you do that, then it will ask you to input the street number.

It doesn't matter if you don't have the street number. Once the required fields are filled, and then a map will be generated by the TomTom GPS Bluetooth software that will allow you to understand the route you need to take to reach your required destination.

It's important to get familiar with your TomTom GPS Bluetooth device before you actually set out on a journey. Understanding the nuances of the device and its operations will help you to over come any kind of navigation problems while driving and concentrate on the road. Use the battery economically and switch it off once you reach your destination so that you don't have to recharge it too often.
