Just like any other modern GPS devices, the Meridian Color GPS is given the capacity to track up to 12 satellites at any one time to determine current constellations and other functions that fully the Wide Area Augmentation System (WAAS) technology, both for US and European locations. Its current GPS accuracy covers within 3 meters or better depending on its satellite reception and signals. Another thing is its customizable screen displays. Depending on your preferences on its functionalities, you may choose or set it to display only the maps, compass, or bearing/heading screen. Details on other information features like the speedometer, routes and points of interest may also be accessed, giving an average walker a built-in GPS navigation system.
