Magellan GPS Instructions
Where to Find Them

Since people are so bad at giving directions you may want to have a GPS system. If you have one made by Magellan and lost the booklet, then you are probably wondering where to find Magellan GPS instructions.

Magellan is one of the world’s leading GPS manufacturer's and they tend to put out quality products. However some of us aren’t tech savvy and these can be confusing. Luckily they include an instruction booklet with each one, though sometimes you may lose these important articles.

Finding Magellan GPS instructions is actually quite easy.

One method is to download the instructions from Magellan's website at www.magellangps.com/support/index.asp. This will typically give you a very long document that you can read on your computer. This is good you have it now, but unless you have a laptop slot in your van it’s not going to be easy to use it for quick reference.

You could print it, but that would take a large amount of paper, and ink. Although not the best method, it will do in a pinch.

If you want a hard copy you can contact the company themselves and order a replacement booklet. They may charge you some for this but if you want a real book you will probably pay for it.

You can also search online auction sites for the booklets. It’s not as far fetched as it seems, you can find anything at auction sites these days.

Of course there is the old fashioned telephone method. If you are having problems with a specific function on your machine then you can call tech support. Their techs will work with you to solve your problem. That is assuming they speak your language properly, if not then you may have to get a supervisor.

Another method may be to ask a friend who has the same model if you can borrow their book for a bit. Or you may look in the CD that came with the GPS, assuming it came with one. Most have installation software so you can hook them up to your computer and download updated maps. Always nice to know when a bridge has been moved. It’s also nice to know when a new attraction has opened up; it pays to stay on top of things.

Getting hold of your Magellan GPS instructions isn’t hard. Just go online and download one, or order a new copy. You can also call tech support or bug your neighbor for his.
