For those of us who are directionally challenged, the Magellan personal GPS navigation systems are a Godsend. Now you can go anywhere and never have to worry about getting lost. For guys, it means never having to ask directions again. Say goodbye to the passenger and/or back seat drivers in your family for good.

The basic set comes with the unit (duh!), a power cable to charge it with, a cable to plug it in to the lighter outlet in the car and instructions on use and mounting. While the units themselves are somewhat attractive, there’s no reason you can’t dress it up a bit and that’s where Magellan GPS accessories come in.

3. Leather carrying cases are for those times when you are not using the Magellan GPS to find your way around. When you leave the vehicle, nestle your Magellan GPS in one of these supple leather cases. Keeps it protected and out of sight from the “darker elements”, if you know what I mean.
4. Cradles that hold your Magellan GPS sturdily in place. Designed for those who want their GPS mounted permanently, this device attaches to the rearview mirror holder and firmly houses the unit. Won’t slip, won’t fall and won’t get broken!
5. Looking for a lower profile for your GPS? Try one of their air vent mounts. Completely removable and useable in ANY vehicle that has air vents.
6. Moving your GPS to another car can be an exercise in futility. Forgetting a car charger or power cord can make your Magellan useless if the battery dies. Get yourself a “second car kit” and that won’t be a problem anymore. Comes with everything you need to transfer your unit to another car.
