It has the Nuvi 710 model's regional map features, Nuvi 760's Bluetooth, Nuvi 770's North American and European maps and traffic update features, which the Nuvi 750 model lacks.

The Nuvi 780 Look

At the top of this gadget, you will see the power switch. All its other operations are performed using its 4.3-inch colored screen. There is a small microphone hole placed along the left side of the frame.

While all Nuvi 700 series are given a sleek frame, Nuvi 780 is given the smart black frame ergonomics, which feels more solid in the hand. You will see that the quality of its construction is obvious.

The speaker and external antenna connector is placed at the rear portion of the Nuvi 780. It also has a built-in internal antenna instead of the fold-out style antenna, which means less moving parts to break.
