Garmin iQue 3600 GPS PDA

Garmin iQue 3600 GPS PDA gives you a PDA running Palm OS and a full featured GPS unit, which effectively combine the functions of two practical gadgets into one. Its address book directly supports map lookup, which does not only save the address of your friend but also give directions on how to get to that address.

In addition, it also saves the GPS locations of the people in your address book for quick and convenient recall. The same practical feature applies in saving the location of your upcoming functions or appointment list. Hence, it will help you promptly come on the places you need to be.

Talking about first impressions, Garmin iQue 3600 GPS PDA looks like an innocent Palm device with the standard four buttons and page up and down buttons. However, its user-friendly interface is so easy to follow, making it convenient for you to launch Palm/GPS applications.

The holes around its page up/down keys are intended for audio speaker connections.

At the bottom part, you will find the universal connector, which permits you to optimize the use of the device with other Palm accessories like Palm modem.

On the top portion of the unit, you will find the slot for expansion memory card, stereo headphone jack, external antenna jack, and iR port. Its stylus is neatly tucked into the right side of the unit.

The improved 320x480 pixel display plus extra hardware features of the new Garmin iQue 3600 GPS PDA are geared to increase its ability to provide you with personal computing, commuting and navigation assistance unlike any other. In addition, its maps and yellow page support complements its GPS functions perfectly. With its universal connector, you can use this handy and portable device along with other palm accessories.

One of the key features of iQue 3600 lies is its built-in audio capabilities. It has one mic input, 3 audio outputs and two software applications. Its audio outputs include a stereo output via a headphone jack, a built in speaker and a monoaural output via the car kit included in its universal serial port connection.

Now for its audio input features, its voice recording functions can handle fairly big wav files, which can be compressed depending on the user option. Audio files may be stored on the SD card or in the main memory.

Aside from managing voice recordings, the device can also store and play mp3 files or wave files. It even works well with third party players like AeroPlayer. Just remember that Garmin units with Version 2.0 software for Palm supports type 2 and type 3 files.

For something that easily fits in your pants pocket, shirt pocket or purse, the new Garmin iQue 3600 GPS PDA gives you a full-featured personal assistant with convenient and portable GPS features and more. In addition to its efficient personal assistant functions, it accommodates the extra bells and whistles that you can expect from from every Gamin GPS.

Thanks to the brand's consistent effort in finding PDA GPS solutions, the new iQue 3600 GPS PDA has finally come to the market and quickly into millions of techie hands.
