GPS Navigators Systems

GPS Navigators make it simple and easy to get directions to your destination.

Do you have trouble getting clear and accurate directions. When I was going on a service call in S. Central Indiana 25 years ago the town I was traveling to was in an out of the way location. Even the State map did not give a number to the road I needed to take.

I stopped at 3 Convenience stores to ask directions. I got 3 different versions. Which one to follow?

The last one pointed to the traffic light viewable through the window and said turn left. Being that close to the turn this one was surely right so I went to the light and turned left. Eventually, some miles later, a road-sign confirmed I was on the correct road. Hooray!

10 years later at Kansas City International Airport I was leaving to go to my hotel. I saw a bus parked at the curb. Surely a bus driver knows his way around.

I asked for directions and he told me how to get there. I then told him about why men never stop to ask directions; because people are so BAD at giving directions.

So he got out a sheet of paper and drew me a map with a different set of directions.

I followed his directions and got close enough to see the hotel, but both sets of directions he gave me then took me away from the hotel. At least I was close enough to figure out how to get there.

Now my vehicle gps navigator gives me step by step, turn by turn directions. What a life-saver!
